Words on this page Agenda The list of what the board plans to talk about. Posted at least 48 hours before, not counting weekends and holidays. Minutes The town's official record of what happened and how members voted. The board approves them later. Packet The background papers board members read before the meeting. What the search covers Board names, our plain words summaries and, for past meetings, what the town minutes say. We never search or show packets, which can hold private details such as home addresses. Passages are checked for addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, and public comment is left out.
How we make this We collect each town's posted agendas and minutes. Our summaries are written in plain words by the Cape Ann Current. Only the town's approved minutes are the official record. How we work
