Crosscurrents: At Good Harbor, more dogs and fewer gulls

A Gloucester reader noticed something different on the beach on a sunny October day, and has a suggestion for the city.

Oct. 2 was a beautiful day on Good Harbor, tons of people. Even better, I only saw 2 seagulls. It took a minute, but I figured out what changed. All the adorable little dogs running around. Keep the dogs year round and get rid of the gulls!
